Rilakkuma

Rilakkuma

() I was sent Rilakkuma products in exchange for this review. All opinions, however, are 100% my own.

Weekends are meant for relaxing, but why do we limit this feeling to the weekend? Don’t you want to always be a little bit like Rilakkuma, this adorable Japanese character who is in a relaxed mood all the time? Wouldn’t life be that much better? keep reading

Febreze Holiday Scents

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/Febreze. All opinions about the Febreze Holiday Scents are 100% my own.

In a house that includes a toddler and two dogs, there are always interesting smells to hit your nose. Either the Peterson or McPherson in me has granted me with a keen sense of smell, because I smell it all. Not always fun. This holiday season, I can breathe a ‘lil happier. Remember, there’s a toddler and two dogs, so lighting a candle isn’t the best / easiest option. That’s just one of the reasons I love the Febreze Holiday Scents line. keep reading

Bright Light Pillow

Disclosure: I was sent product in exchange for this review of the Bright Light Pillow. All opinions, however, are 100% my own.

With kids who are afraid of the dark, we’ve been looking for a solution. Arianna informed me that the Bright Light Pillow would be a great addition, and I can’t help but agree. (If you’re wondering how she knew about it before I did, the answer is “As Seen on TV” – they definitely know how to market to the kids!) keep reading

Disclaimer: I received a copy of Beverly Lewis’ The Secret Keeper from Bethany House in exchange for an honest review. All opinions, however, are 100% my own.

Beverly Lewis is one of those authors who never fails to disappoint me. Put one of her books in my hands and you won’t hear a peep from me until I am done (later that day/night). In her newest book in the “Home to Hickory Hollow” series, The Secret Keeper, Lewis definitely delivers. keep reading

What Your Dreams Are Telling You

Disclaimer: Chosen Books sent me a copy of What Your Dreams Are Telling You in exchange for an honest review. All opinions, as always, are 100% my own.

One of the things I’ve sort of hated to do since I was a kid was dream. I know. That sounds awful. Why wouldn’t one want to dream? Well, typically, when I dream, it usually has a way of coming true. I rarely dream, so when I do, I take heed. You see, I believe I’ve been blessed with a spiritual gift, visions (most of you know it as deja vu). Sometimes it can be painfully scary to dream, but it’s something I’ve been working through my entire life. keep reading

Raw Fit

Disclosure: I received product from Garden of Life (Raw Fit) in exchange for an honest review. All opinions, as always, are 100% my own.

As I write this post, I begin to think more and more about my future and where I want it to take me. If you had asked me a year ago, heck, even eight months ago, to drink a protein shake I would definitely have said no. Now, protein shakes are pretty much part of my daily life. Following every workout, I’m either eating a protein bar or slurping down a protein shake. (Evan likes to call it my sugar, and he always asks if I will share some. I think that making this impression on my kids is a great thing, but it’s way to early to get him to “jump the shark” like some people think I have, he he.) keep reading
