Thank You, Jesus!

I think these stories are well worth the Wordless Wednesday interruption. 🙂

Apparently, at the ripe old age of two, Little Miss A is already familiar with Jesus’ miracle working power…and knows well enough to remind us of it, too.

This evening, we took a walk in my work parking lot,  and I slipped her a fortune cookie I had saved her from snack today.

She ate it a little slower than normal. When she was done, she habitually asked, “Can I have another, please, please?”

There wasn’t another to be had, so I told her, “Sorry, that’s all there is”, to which she said, “but I want another!”

When I told her I didn’t know what to do about it, she said, “Jesus will help me. He’ll give me a cookie.”

Pappy, was your Sunday sermon on feeding the five-thousand?

We get home and I told her it was time to use the potty. She gave me grief,  so when we got downstairs I picked up my phone to “call Jesus”. After starting the countdown from five,  she ran to the potty. A yelled out, “Jesus told me to potty, Daddy!”

Thank you, Jesus.

If you are wondering what A’s fortune said…here you go.
