This Halloween, I went out dressed as a zombie. This meant rolling a white outfit in the mud and then dripping fake blood on it. Honestly, I didn’t care if it wasn’t going to get clean after this, but I had a secret weapon up my sleeve to help me just in case I changed my mind.
Purex plus Oxi takes my favorite laundry detergent up another level by adding stain fighting power. There are three enzymes in this formula that each work against different types of stains to restore clothes to the pristine original condition they were in before you zombified or toddler-fied them.
When Greg threw my costume in the wash with Purex plus Oxi, I just hoped for the best. The costume is for the most part stain free! (I went a ‘lil crazy with the fake blood, so there are some spots remaining but they are only really noticable to me.) Purex plus Oxi officially became our stain fighting detergent with that proof.
As usual, this formula is hypo-allergenic and has a light scent (two of my detergent requirements).
Not only does it work in the standard wash, it was can be used as a pretreater by pouring a little bit of this laundry detergent on the stained area, rubbing it in, and letting it soak for 5 minutes before throwing in the wash. I didn’t have to do this to get my costume clean, but good to know!
Does Purex plus Oxi sound like something you’d like to add to your house? Never fear, Purex plus Oxi is priced for the everyday household. Bonus, I have three coupons to give away to one lucky winner. Contest ends next Sunday, November 11.
Disclaimer: Purex provided me with a sample of Purex plus Oxi to review and coupons to share with you. All opinions, however, are 100% my own.
I’d use it to fight grass stains.
I would use it to wash off mud and dirt.
Unfortunately being born into the McPherson Family I have a tendency to “save food for later” I would use it to get rid of those pesky food stains
I’d use it to get the stains off my sons onesies and bibs!
