When you make friends, make them for life. You don’t need a lot of friends, but you do need quality ones.

Greg and I are pretty blessed when it comes to our friends. The fine folks above (Elizabeth, Kendall, Ash – photo credit) are some of the best.

Time, distance…None of it matters. They have been there for us and always (among others) make an appearance during our trips back to Myrtle.

These are the kind of friends I longed for my whole life (as I moved every three or four years). The kind where it doesn’t matter how long it has been, they always remember the ‘lil things.

Our friends (near and far) are a blessing in our lives and we pray the kids have this, too.

Proverbs 18:24: A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

  1. I definitely agree with you, in life EVERYONE needs quality friends! A person doesn’t have to necessarily have a lot, but a few good friends that are there no matter what make life a lot easier (and happier).
I’m so glad you’re blessed with those kids of friends! 🙂
