Let’s be honest, our house could use some decorative help. There are lots of empty walls in our house, nooks and crannies void of occupants. I am jealous of friends who have the perfect paint jobs and cute wall decor; however, decorating is not something that is at the top of my priority list. For the most part, things coordinate, but I know there is a lot more that could be done.

For now, we stick with our mostly neutral walls and simple window treatments. But a girl can dream, right? There are plenty of places to find inspiration out on the internet, but I recently found a great website to get ideas for the future when it comes to decor.

There are ideas for interior and exterior design. Every room in the house is covered, every style and color option is available for browsing with ideas from all over the world. There are DIY projects to browse, and links to neat products for the home. You can post questions to others about style elements that you might be worried about (for instance, do brown and green ever belong together?).

If you like the premise of Houzz, sign up for an account and create an Ideabook for your next remodeling or decorating project (or be like me, and dream away!). How many hours are there in a day?
