In exactly six months, I’ll be turning 30. I found a list of things I wanted to do before I Was thirty here and I actually accomplished most of them…but I’ve been inspired by a few other people and their “30 by 30” lists. So, I have 6 months to complete the following things…
- Bake a red velvet cake.
- Bake a pie in my (still unused) pie dish.
- Take a BYOB painting class.
- Visit a PA or NY winery.
- Take a cooking class at Market District.
- Write a will.
- Take a pilates class.
- See part of the underground railroad.
- Visit the Flight 93 Crash Site.
- Weigh less than 200 pounds.
- Pay for the person behind me at a drive through.
- Have an all night chick flick fest.
- Take dance lessons.
- Go to a drag show.
- Geocache.
- Milk a cow.
- Drink a bottle of wine from 1983.
- Go to the Pittsburgh Glass Center.
- Take Greg to the Warhol.
- Polar Bear Plunge.
- Go to Fallingwater with Greg.
- Call customer service just to thank them for their great service.
- Learn the “Save the Last Dance” dance with Greg.
- Go to an indoor shooting range.
- Go zip lining…
- Write 4 chapters for a book.
- Open a 401K.
- Eat Huevos Rancheros.
- Build a patio in our back yard.
- See the Cherry Blossoms in DC (thanks Scott for getting married at EXACTLY the right time!)
Great list! I found that it was absolutely necessary for me to sit down with my calendar and identify WHEN I would do things on my list. Time goes by so fast!
The Glass Center is on my list too, and I haven’t scheduled it yet. Let me know if you’re interested in taking a workshop together (I am turning 30 in November, so it’s coming fast, but I’m not a stickler about getting there on time)
Excellent idea, and yes, I should look into the Glass Center calendar!
